Pirun Watcharaporn

Owner, Boutique Resort · Ko Phangan

We had been open three years and knew something in the arrival experience was not working — guests would say everything was fine but the reviews told a different story. Napat spent half a day with us, walked through the whole arrival and check-in process and identified four specific moments that were creating friction. The summary was honest and direct. We made changes within two weeks and the next month's reviews shifted noticeably.

Malee Thepsiri

General Manager, Beach Hotel · Ko Samui

The operations project was more thorough than I expected. Sunita worked alongside our team for several weeks and the process guidelines she produced are something our staff actually refer to. The training outline has been particularly useful for onboarding — we had two new front desk staff start in April and the handover was much smoother than it would have been. I would say the investment was worth it.

Director, Villa Collection · Phuket

We have been on the advisory arrangement for four months. What I value most is having someone to think through decisions with who understands the Thai hospitality context without me having to explain it. The written notes after each session mean I do not forget what was discussed. It is a quiet, steady kind of support — not dramatic — but it keeps us from drifting.

Nong Apinya

Owner, Beachfront Cafe · Krabi

As a small cafe owner I was not sure whether a consulting engagement made sense for us. The guest experience session was a reasonable way to find out. The improvement list was specific and manageable — not a long document telling us to do things we already knew. Two of the five suggestions we implemented quickly and both made a visible difference to how the busiest part of the morning service runs.

Wirat Chanwit

Resort Manager · Koh Tao

We brought Sundara in before our high season to look at our housekeeping and front desk handover process. Staff turnover had left some gaps and I wanted someone to map them properly before December. The process document they produced was accurate and the timeline worked well — we had everything in place before the first wave of December guests arrived.

Somchai Charoensuk

Owner, Guesthouse & Restaurant · Chiang Mai

I had tried to think through the guest journey myself many times but always got too caught up in the operational side to step back and look at it clearly. Having Napat walk it with me was different — he asked questions I had not thought to ask and made observations I had genuinely stopped noticing. The written summary gave me something to share with my team without it sounding like criticism from me.

Longer stories from the work

Boutique resort, Ko Samui

Operations Project · 5 weeks · Completed April 2025

The Situation

A 22-room resort had experienced significant staff turnover over two seasons. Informal routines had replaced documented processes, and different staff were handling the same tasks in different ways. Guest reviews flagged inconsistency — particularly around breakfast service and room readiness at check-in time.

The Engagement

Over five weeks, the Sundara team observed daily operations, interviewed staff and worked with the property manager to document agreed routines for the kitchen-to-table breakfast flow and the housekeeping-to-front-desk room readiness handover. A training outline was produced to support onboarding.

What Changed

Within six weeks of completing the engagement, the resort reported a measurable reduction in late room readiness incidents and a more consistent breakfast experience. A new staff member onboarded in April was operational within three days, compared to a typical two-week period previously.

"The process document is already something we use for every new hire. It has changed how we bring people in."

Beach cafe, Hua Hin

Guest Experience Session · 1 day · Completed May 2025

The Situation

A popular beachfront cafe was handling a steady flow of customers but receiving feedback suggesting the experience was rushed at peak times. The owner had a sense that something in the flow between ordering and service was creating tension, but could not identify exactly where.

The Engagement

A half-day session focused on the peak morning service window. We observed the ordering, preparation and service sequence, spoke with two staff members and noted specific moments where the guest experience broke down — primarily at the table greeting stage and during the wait between ordering and delivery.

What Changed

The written improvement list identified three practical adjustments to the morning flow. Two were implemented within the week. The owner reported that the busiest hour of service felt calmer within a fortnight, and that staff stress during peak periods had visibly reduced.

"I had been watching the same problem for six months and could not name it clearly. Having someone else observe it and describe it precisely was worth the cost on its own."
